GLM3 Productions LLC is a small business designed to deliver retail products, produced during my teaching years, and to provide administrative services for historical and veteran organizations located in Oklahoma.
In rank order behind my faith walk and my family responsibilities is lifelong respect for the core documents upon which the American Republic is built.
This interest in our Constitutional experiment of self-governance is easily traced to a boyhood memory. I was seated in front of the upright radio in our living room, listening to the 1952 and 1956 national Republican and Democrat Party conventions nominate Dwight D. Eisenhower and Adli Stevenson for President of the United States.
Even during high school when it was a challenge to keep grades high enough to remain eligible for athletic competition, I managed to post a grade of “A” in my Constitution class.
Never during my youth did I think it would become my experience to take the oath to “preserve, protect, and defend” the Constitution that governed the country of my birth. That duty of civic responsibility resulted in an isolated tour of duty of more than thirteen months in the Republic of South Korea and solidified my understanding that freedom is not free.
Never in my youth did I think that my adult years would give me the opportunity to serve young people in public school classrooms by teaching the American Federal government. Adult years also provided me the experience to serve as a voter registrar (prior to applications being readily available at public service outlets), allowed me to serve as an Oklahoma Presidential elector in 1996, and served as a delegate from Oklahoma to a national party convention.
Never in my youth did I think it would become a reality for me to serve my fellow citizens as an elected representative. The absolute highlight of my life after retirement from public education was the twelve years of public service I spent in the Oklahoma House of Representatives.
My life experiences have provided a well-built foundation from which to honor my national heritage and to honor those who defend liberty.
